We started off the day at the Empire State Building. It was good we got there early because when we left you couldn't hardly move there were so many people!
Mom and dad were sharing the head piece telling the history and mom thought that if she were more than a foot away from dad her ear would literally pull off hahaha it was so funny to watch!
After that we went to the 9/11 memorial
On our way to lunch we walked down Wall Street but it turns out that you can't actually go in the new York stock exchange :/
We saw some nebraska love
And just as we were walking back to the hotel we just happened to run into Hoda Kotb!!!!
For dinner we ate at Carmine's then headed to the show Newsies
Such fun for the Burklund family. My first trip to NYC was OCC related, too. Did you tell Hoda about OCC? LOL. Seize those opportunities...you never know where the seeds will bear fruit.
